Self

Often am I lost in thought
in wonderings
and musings
and ponderings alike.

I lose myself in dreams
in hopes
in fears;
ideas.

Stories.

The list, I'm sure,
goes on and on.

Yet;
what I think is interesting to say
is that I lost myself.
I lost myself.

Thereupon I'll question;
if I am always lost inside my mind
then perhaps
there is not
nor ever was
a self
a me
to find.
